Your mission
- Develop product marketing strategies: You will design and implement tailored marketing strategies for our products and features that are aligned with Intershop's business and growth objectives.
- Accountability for go-to-market initiatives: You will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of go-to-market initiatives for new products and features to ensure effective market penetration.
- Market and user research: You will conduct comprehensive market, competitive and customer needs analyses to identify opportunities and optimise product positioning and communication strategy.
- Review our product communications and positioning: Working closely with the product and brand teams, you will develop clear and compelling product messages and value propositions that help target audiences understand the benefits of Intershop products. You will also create marketing content such as presentations, case studies, and product videos to educate both customers and internal teams about Intershop's offerings.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration: You will work with product management, marketing, sales and other cross-functional teams to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
- Develop sales collateral: You will create sales enablement materials such as product and sales collateral to support the sales and partner teams.
Your profile
- You are passionate about product marketing and communications and have at least 3 years, preferably 5 years, of relevant work experience.
- Your focus to date has been in the e-commerce/cloud environment, preferably in the B2B sector.
- You understand customers and have the ability to translate technical product information and roadmaps into compelling messages and marketing strategies.
- You have successfully completed a degree in business administration with a focus on marketing or communications, or a degree in industrial engineering with a focus on computer science or a comparable discipline.
- You combine an agile mindset with a deep understanding of tasks, standards and processes.
- You have excellent research and analytical skills and a keen sense of customer behaviour.
- Your strong presentation and facilitation skills are underpinned by creativity, initiative and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- You are willing to work regularly at our office in Jena.
- You have excellent written and spoken German and English language skills.
